We’ll teach you how to prepare yourself for meditation, sit correctly, breathe properly, witness thought-patterns, and relax naturally.
Learn how to observe yourself, be mindful and how to be at ease and discover clarity and calmness on the inside.

Accommodation in Goa
You will be accommodated in a Retreat Centre in Goa, India. The centre itself is about 5 mins walk from the Beach.
You will have your own room.
Course Content
We will cover in detail:
- Introduction of Pranayama
Learn how to direct and control prana in the body, which has been considered a crucial aspect of Yoga. Breathing is an essential body function. We can learn to control the way we breathe and feel the flow of Prana.
- Pancha kosha Vital Sheaths
First appeared in Taittiriya Upanishad, Pancha Kosha is a Yogic philosophy concept, which states that there are five layers, or sheaths, around the human soul. The term comes from the Sanskrit pancha, meaning “five,” and kosha meaning “sheath.” You will learn all of the five Koshas in detail and how to be aware of these koshas to take the inner journey to uncover your true self or Atman.
- Prana and Chakra
Learn about the relationship between the Prana and the chakras. Chakras are energy centers in human body. There are 114 minor chakras and 7 major chakras in the body. Understand how to activate the chakras with help of Pranayama.
- Prana and Nadi
Understand the human body from the basis of energy form. There are over 72,000 nadis or energy channels, along which the vital energy or prana moves. Learn in depth about the relationship of Prana and Nadi and how they are related with the Chakras.
- Prana and Mantra
The basis of many prana vidya techniques is mantra and we will cover them in detail. Learn the correct application of mantras, within the specialised form of prana vidya.
- Essential Mudras, Bandhas and Asanas for Pranayama
Learn the various mudras, asanas and bandhas to practice Pranayama. We will cover them in theory and in practice for you to have a holistic understanding of the same.
- Three aspects of Pranayama
Learn what forms the basic function of Pranayama. Understand how the seemingly simple Inhalation (puraka), Breath holding (kumbhaka) and Exhalation (rechaka) has profound effect on body, mind and thoughts.
- Physiology of Pranayama
By practice, see for yourself how Pranayama plays a vital role in calming the mind, recharging your energy and cleaning the body on deeper levels.
- Guideline of Pranayama
We will also cover the posture for Pranayama, how to avoid distractions while practicing Pranayama and how to observe others doing Pranayama for you to become a skilful teacher to teach others the art of breathing
