Unlock the Power of Relaxation. Learn how to REALLY relax

Yin Yoga + Yoga Nidra with Sound Healing Workshop

Yin yoga

Welcome to our transformative Yin Yoga + Yoga Nidra with Sound Healing workshop at Shivoham Institute. This restorative and revitalizing workshop is designed to empower your body, mind, and spirit in profound and life-affirming ways.

Dive deep into the magic of Yin Yoga, a restful practice that allows us to reconnect with ourselves at a subtle, quieter level. This form of yoga focuses on deep, passive stretches that target your body’s deep connective tissues, enhancing flexibility and promoting overall health. Yin Yoga encourages mindful stillness and nourishes the meridian lines, cultivating inner peace and relaxation.

Following the Yin Yoga session, experience the divine practice of Yoga Nidra – often referred to as “yogic sleep.” This ancient technique invites you to reach the most profound state of relaxation possible, a space where your body is at rest but your mind remains lucid and awake. This unique state, where conscious relaxation meets subconscious activation, supports healing, rejuvenation, and manifestation.

As we conclude our session, we immerse you in the powerful therapy of Sound Healing. Sound healing uses vibrations produced by instruments like Tibetan singing bowls, gongs, and tuning forks to balance the energy in your body. These harmonic resonances stimulate alpha and theta brainwave frequencies, promoting deep relaxation and healing, facilitating balance and harmony within.

The Benefits of the Workshop

Physical Well-being and Flexibility

Yin Yoga targets the deeper connective tissues—tendons, fascia, and ligaments—with its slow, mindful poses. This helps increase flexibility, especially in the lower body and improves joint mobility, which promotes overall physical well-being.

Enhanced Relaxation

All three practices—Yin Yoga, Yoga Nidra, and Sound Healing—are centred around promoting deep relaxation. This can help reduce stress and anxiety, promoting a calm, peaceful state of mind.

Improved Sleep

The deep relaxation resulting from these practices can significantly improve your sleep quality. Yoga Nidra, or yogic sleep, can help reset your sleep patterns and promote deep, restful sleep.

Emotional Healing

Yin Yoga and Yoga Nidra allow you to explore and release emotional tension stored in the body. Additionally, Sound Healing uses vibrations that can help to restore emotional equilibrium.

Increased Mindfulness and Self-awareness

Yin Yoga encourages mindfulness as you hold poses for extended periods. This, combined with the deep meditative state achieved during Yoga Nidra and Sound Healing, enhances self-awareness and presence.

Energy Balancing

Sound Healing uses the vibrations of different frequencies to balance the body’s energy centres or chakras. This helps create harmony and balance within the body’s energy field, influencing overall health and well-being.

Enhanced Focus and Creativity

The meditative aspect of these practices can lead to improved mental clarity, enhancing focus and stimulating creativity.

Supports the Healing Process

By reducing stress, balancing the body’s energy, and promoting emotional healing, this combination can create an optimal environment for physical healing.

Remember, everyone’s experience with Yin Yoga, Yoga Nidra, and Sound Healing can be unique. Benefits can vary based on individual factors such as overall health, mindset, and the frequency of practice. However, most people find this combination to be a profoundly nurturing and transformative experience.
